The Ring Alarm Flood & Freeze Sensor is designed to protect your home from water damage and frozen pipes. It provides real-time alerts for leaks and low temperatures directly to your smartphone. The sensor is easy to set up without tools and requires a Ring Alarm Security System (sold separately). It has a maximum battery life of 3 years and replaceable batteries. The sensor operates within a temperature range of 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C) and connects to the Ring Alarm Base Station via Z-Wave with a range of up to 250 feet. It comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
